Chris's Photography I Gallery
About
This website is a a gallery of my favorite works from the Photography I class, and a place to show off my work. Below are the works of a few artists I was inspired by, so please check out more of their work.

Carl Chiarenza
Carl Chiarenza is most known for taking abstract photos, mostly those of ripped and crumpled paper. I decided to base some of my "paper man" abstract photographs off of his method of manipulating paper purposefully in order to get the shot he wanted.

Henri Cartier-Bresson
Always ready for the "decisive moment" as he called it, Cartier-Bresson was a French photographer who pioneered the genre of street photography. He did not ask people to pose or look his way, and instead was known as a master of candid shots.

Robert Frank
Robert Frank was a Swiss photographer who was famous for his photo collection, The Americans. He was praised for his candid shots of American people across the country, and for his insightful view as an outsider.
